Whiteness is not about skin color because Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is a very dangerous white male oppressor, and his skin is dark in color. So don’t think this is about skin color or hating yourself, and honestly, the intellectual and emotional exercise of “hating yourself” isn’t useful in any practical way. So explicitly that’s not the point of this article.
