What values are we serving today? Are they rooted in our ancestral traditions, or are they given by the same systems whose agenda is the fracture and scattering of the family? Modern society often promotes individualism, consumerism, and a shallow idea of “freedom” that pulls us away from our roots.
“Even the Gods, with all their might and power, couldn’t create you without having gone through your parents”.
This alone should be enough for us to understand the honor we owe them.
In a very real way, I am what I am because I am my father’s son and my mother’s child. My parents were the doorway through which my Ancestors and the Powers of Nature sent me into the world.
The respect we owe to our parents is the first step toward stability and prosperity in our existence. They fulfilled their obligation to the bloodline by procreating life for the continuation of the family and the culture it carries.
The goal of life is to survive and to aspire to the purification of the self. To accomplish even one of these two goals, we must maintain the flow of the bloodline. This is not only biology; It is a spiritual and cultural necessity.
