Purification prepares us for what’s next. We brush our teeth and clean ourselves physically to prepare for a new day - but in this modern world, do we have a clear technical and logical process to clean our spirit daily?

With Nature always becoming anew, and the reality that gives us life, cleaning ourselves serves as a skill, and ultimately a practical necessity, that supports our ability to grow with Nature. Nature has a pure expression, and we have to be objective to perceive it and prepare for what is to come without the corruptions of human conditions. As the truth remains, without Nature, we wouldn’t live, or even exist. Fitting into something that is pure isn’t the easiest thing to do.

We humans, especially in the modern world, are built to love sweet, feel-good, and easy things. When there is pain, we tend to reach for painkillers to take the pain away - unless we choose to experience short term discomfort against the long term consequence of a sweet fix. Not scratching a bug bite might be extremely uncomfortable, but it stops the bite from spreading and causing more irritation. But how many of us can successfully not scratch the itch of a mosquito bite? We tend to go against Nature, which results in conflict within ourselves. It’s hard not to be emotional and do what has to be done.

However, the goal of fitting into an ever-growing Nature doesn’t change based on the difficulty for humans. The Earth is holding humans, not the other way around. As human beings, we are bound by the dynamics Earth imposes on us, meaning we cannot impose our human desires on Earth, no matter how hard we try. Unfortunately, the drive to achieve your heart’s desires at any cost, which drives our society, pulls us further from the pursuit of purity.

So now the question the modern human looking to harmonize with Nature has is…how? How do I fit into Nature? How do we transcend the arbitrary goals of the modern world? How do we not fall victim to human desire and thirst for power? A question traditional culture answers on a daily basis.

Indigenous cultures in Meritah (Africa) understand that realigning with the essence of our humanity, to unite with our full self, is essential to keep us pure and one with Nature. Our heart and mind, material and nonmaterial, and spirit and body - move harmoniously only when we devote daily effort to removing distractions and corruptions. The truth is, humans are corrupt and corruptible, so we must always clean ourselves. From sunup to sunup, the culture spends every aspect of life in the natural world, fitting into it rather than imposing human aberrations. Since our purity is fouled easily, the indigenous minds of Meritah live to tend to our human condition. It’s a daily practice to face our human reality.

KA’AT IBI, originating from the Kemetic culture and alive in Meritah, is a purifying application with various forms, allowing us to assess the heart and mind and helping us endure to fit into divine form. Fitting in the right place and right time is the essence of KA’AT IBI, and it takes work, sweat, pain, and suffering to release attachment to what we want purity to feel like. This sweat equity allows us access to the path into Nature and aligns with its growth and evolution. We harmonize with it, or else we fall short, living out of our nature for sweet laziness.

Nature is pure, and we can see it on a personal level through our bodies, which are designed to purify. Our lungs, from our first breath to our last, function to expel what no longer serves us - making room for more energy or, in other words, more life. So it only makes sense to harmonize with this reality. But unlike our body, which we see, we have to make a choice to choose to purify the spirit. It’s not something we can “wing” or “make up”  based on what fits our fantasy. After all, many of us are still confused about the difference between a spirit and a soul. We could stand to learn from original cultures that live in harmony and preserve knowledge unacknowledged by the modern world.

It becomes essential for those of us living in the modern world who seek access to higher dimensions to understand that there is no evolution without spiritual purification, which allows us to properly fit into Nature.
